The Spiritual Meaning of 7

Welcome to the 7th blog post in my series of "Angel Numbers & What They Mean"

The Universe speaks to us in numbers and we live in a world of mathematics and binary code.

The number 7 usually means new awareness and spirituality.

It is found in most major religions.

In the Christian Bible, the number 7 is used often. It symbolizes perfection in God's word and His creations. Earth was created in six days and God rested on the seventh, creating the basis of the 7-day-week we use to this day.

In the Book of Revelation we see seven churches, seven angels, seven seals, seven trumpets, etc. There are 7 annual Holy Days, beginning with Passover and ending with the Last Great Day (the day after the Feast of Tabernacles ends in the fall).

In the East, there is The Seven Treasures in Buddhist Scripture. Seven represents the combination of Yin, Yang and Five Elements (Metal, Wood, Water, Fire and Earth). This combination is considered as “harmony” in Confucianism.

In Feng Shui, the number 7 is of the metal element. It means sharp objects, and matters of the mouth. The sharp tongue that can cause hurt feelings.

In a neutral way, it can just mean communication, singers, actors and customer service.

And what about:

  • 7 colors in the rainbow
  • The 7 wonders of the world
  • 777 the jackpot on slot machines

If you see the number 7 in your life, it could be about nurturing your spiritual connection. The 7th chakra is the crown chakra, your cell phone connection to Heaven and the Universe.

As you balance your crown chakra, your awareness of the Universe expands. You develop a higher conscious. You become at one with the Universe and your Spirituality.

Enjoy the number 7
